According to sources, Ayan Mukherji’s blockbuster film Brahmastra will premiere on the OTT platform, Disney+ Hotstar, on October 23.

The response to Brahmastra was overwhelmingly positive on the first day of its release and remained high in subsequent days. The film is an adventure drama with a total of three sequels. In the future years, the last two portions will be released one by one.

When Ayan’s film was set to be released, the Indian Film Industry had endured consecutive failures. The film directed by Mukherji was a blessing since it helped the industry recover.

The film grossed INR 430 crore from all over the world, igniting the box office.

Brahmastra is the first film to introduce the Astraverse to audiences. The plot centers on Ranbir’s character (Dev), who has a unique relationship with fire. Alia Bhatt plays Ranbir’s love interest in the film.

Significant parts are also played by Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, Shah Rukh Khan, and Mouni Roy.

According to reports, Ranveer Singh will play the title role in the Brahmastra sequel.
