In a recent video, actress Swara Bhasker poked fun at moviemakers who label her as “too controversial.” Swara uploaded a video of herself dancing at home on Instagram Reels, going along with the current craze. On the screen, it read, “Producers be like: She’s too controversial!” The line “moi: More publicity for my film!! (happy face with sunglasses emoji)” appeared as the beat of the song changed.

Swara dressed a pink and yellow sari, bunned her hair, and clipped on a lot of jewellery. Sharing the post, she wrote, “Dheett (Stubborn) of the world unite!” Additionally, she included the hashtags “insta clips,” “trending,” “Bollywood,” “Bollywood news,” “self-love,” “saree,” “saree love,” “saree not sorry,” “saree draping,” and “saree lover.”

Swara’s next films include the murder mystery Mimamsa and the women’s drama Mrs. Falani. Jahaan Chaar Yaar is where we last saw her. The movie tells the story of four married friends who travel to Goa to find themselves and escape their mundane lives. Jahaan Chaar Yaar, a film Vinod Bachchan produced, debuted in theatres on September 16.

Swara portrays Shivangi in the movie, a dedicated housewife who contrasts with her actual self and her other fiery portrayals.In a previous interview, she had stated, according to a news agency, “When I read the script, I told him (Kamal) give me Shivangi’s part because it is a character I have never done before. She is like a doormat, her greatest fear is that her husband will get angry, her pet lines are ‘Let me ask him’. It is very different not just from the roles that I have done but also different from the person I am. I don’t remember having to ask for permission to do anything in my life.”
