The Happy Family and Break will be leaving Netflix soon – IMDb
With two movies leaving Netflix in December 2022, it will create space for more new movies to come.
My Happy Family, a critically praised Georgian drama, is the first Netflix film to be removed in December 2022.
According to What’s on Netflix, the film premiered at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival and the 67th Berlin International Film Festival prior to its arrival on Netflix.
The film, directed by Nana Ekvtimishvili and Simon Gross, is about “A middle-aged wife and mother of two shocks her traditional, multigenerational Georgian household when she announces she’s going to live by herself.”
My Happy Family actually finishes on December 1, although the last day to stream it is November 30 at midnight, as the streamer shuts down on that date.
Break is the second film breaking off from the streaming service globally.
Marc Fouchard directs and penned the film, which was produced in France.
The plot of the comedy film is as follows: “After a serious accident, Lucie tries to rediscover herself as a dancer and meets Vincent, a talented b-boy battling his own insecurities.”
Break will leave Netflix on December 2 as its two-year license expires.
