Shoaib Shoaib and Sania Mirza to divorce after legal complications, reports

The rumored separation of Indian tennis player Sania Mirza and Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik, two of South Asia’s most adored sports couples, is unquestionably the sad news in Lollywood.

After twelve years of marriage, the couple’s paradise seems to be in peril. Some argue that the conflict has now reached the point of separation. Everyone is in a chokehold as a result of the lack of confirmation from either party. Mirza and Malik may officially announce their divorce after working out some legal concerns, according to people close to the pair.

The sources claimed that because of the contracts they had signed, the couple hasn’t addressed the rumors. The relationship between the pair had been tense for a while. Even if they disagree, Malik and Mirza have chosen to jointly raise their son Izhaan Mirza-Malik.

Although there is a discussion online that the couple has split, their cryptic Instagram postings about having “broken hearts” and going through a difficult time have been giving away numerous clues.

It’s interesting to note that Malik and Mirza continue to follow one another on Instagram. Media reports claim that Mirza recently relocated to a new home in Dubai.

For the uninitiated, Mirza and Malik were wed on April 12, 2010, at Hyderabad, India’s Taj Krishna Hotel. The couple’s Walima ceremony took place in Sialkot, Pakistan.

On the professional front, Mirza chose not to compete in the US Open in August of this year owing to an injury sustained a few weeks beforehand.

Meanwhile, Malik didn’t play in a T20I since November 2021 when he faced Bangladesh.
