In response, she told The Sun last week, “Fashion is about taking risks.” I advise everyone to enjoy themselves and take some risks. I would be bored if I played it safe.

She noted that Alesha Dixon, 44, seldom receives criticism for her provocative attire.

‘Alesha gets away with wearing bikinis, but I don’t seem to. It’s bizarre,’ said Amanda.

‘With shows where there are strong women on a panel, it’s sadly inevitable that they’ll be judged on what they’re wearing.’
