In a statement, the Pennsylvania State Police said, “Today, the Pennsylvania State Police helped the City of Moscow, Idaho Police Department, the Idaho State Police, and the FBI catch a suspect in the deaths of four University of Idaho students on November 13.” “Members of Troop N and the Special Emergency Response Team caught Bryan C. Kohberger, 28, at his home in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, early this morning on a fugitive from justice warrant.”
According to court records cited, Kohberger was arrested after Moscow police issued a warrant for his arrest. The warrant said that Kohberger was guilty of murder in the first degree. He was given a court date, but he was not given bail. He is still in jail until his extradition hearing on January 3.
