Erin Kellyman in episode five of Willow,, who viewers may recognize from the Disney+ series The Falcon and Winter Soldier, embarks on a theme of exploration.

Jade, who plays the main role, discovers the truth about her family—that they are Bone Reavers—and that she has been misinformed about them her entire life.

Additionally, she gains knowledge and sets out on a different trip so that she can confess her actual feelings for the person she loves.

The back-and-forth between Jade and Kit, a Tir Asleen princess played by Ruby Cruz, that they did not completely unveil until episode five, is undoubtedly well-known to viewers of the programme.

Jade refrained since she is aware that she cannot have a romantic connection because she is a knight. Both ladies finally admit their emotions for one another when Kit tells Jade she will go anywhere with her and Jade learns she is also a Bone Reaver.

According to Kellyman in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Jade will be “all in. She’s been waiting a long time” as soon as Kit confesses her unrequited affections for her and Jade learns about her second family.

Because Willow debuted following the season finale of Andor, a show with an openly queer romance between Vel, played by Faye Marsay, and Cinta, played by Varada Sethu, queer representation for Lucasfilm shows the open and inclusive mentality of the studio.

Positive queer representation helps to create a society where members of the queer community feel at ease being their most genuine selves by validating the community’s existence and experiences.

Since Kellyman is openly lesbian, she supports portrayal of LGBTQ people that is positive and accepted, and she also enjoys being that representation.

She claims to be “It feels like I’m healing my inner child. Having not seen these shows [with positive representation] when I was younger, now being able to be the representation that I didn’t have is something that is so peaceful. I know that if I saw this when I was a kid, I would have been completely in love with Kit and Jade, and I would have felt a lot less isolated and scared and weird.”
