Kathy Hilton defended the founder of Skims following criticism over Kim Kardashian’s clothing choice at Paris Hilton’s Christmas dinner last week.

The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star called the criticism of Kardashian’s contentious outfit “silly” and “stupid,” according to the reports.

Everyone should just show up however they feel most comfortable, according to Kathy. When asked if she saw anything “wrong” with what Kardashian wore, Kathy, 63, reaffirmed her position and responded, “No. She is always gorgeous.

When Kardashian, 42, came up to the Hilton family’s Christmas party last week wearing a cropped concert T-shirt and studded black leather trousers, she was viciously mocked on social media by followers.

The attire appeared to be in opposition to the Hilton family’s more joyful attire. Paris wore a red little dress, and Nicky, who is Paris’s sister, looked festive in a red and green flowery outfit.

In contrast, Kathy appeared festively wrapped in a red and green tartan gown with a large red bow on top. In a stylish black pantsuit embellished with lace flowers, even Kim’s mother, Kris Jenner, appeared more joyful.

Many criticized Kardashian’s choice of clothing, calling it “crazy,” “awful,” and “disrespectful.”

At the time, a troll posted on Instagram, “Kim’s clothing is for a rock concert, not a Christmas party,” and “Did Kim not comprehend the holiday party attire assignment?”

A third person commented, “Everyone dressed all fine and Kim looks like a 15YO adolescent that was forced to her parents’ party,” and a fourth person questioned, “WTF is Kim wearing?!”

However, Paris, 41, didn’t appear perturbed by her friend’s fashion choices and cheerfully shared a snapshot of the two at the party on Instagram.

I enjoyed spending the weekend enjoying the holidays with family and friends. My mom usually hosts the most memorable parties. What holiday customs do you enjoy most? “#Slivmas,” Paris captioned the picture last week.

To be fair, the “Kardashians” actress wore a similar outfit to Mason Disick’s Bar Mitzvah party earlier that evening, though some people thought it was equally improper for that occasion as well.

The mother of four, however, was noticeably more joyful on Christmas Eve during her own family’s holiday gathering. For the event, Kardashian wore a silver, sparkling gown.
