On their first trip together after marrying, Ewan McGregor and Mary Elizabeth put on a PDA-packed show
Ewan McGregor and Mary Elizabeth Winstead can't seem to get their hands...
Mary Elizabeth Winstead will be playing the Twi’lek general and captain of the famed Ghost in the new Ahsoka series back in September, and now other websites (Bespin Bulletin) are stating that they have also heard that she will be doing so.
Winstead’s involvement in the series, which stars Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano, a former Jedi trainee, was made public earlier this year. Details of Winstead’s role were being kept under wraps at the time, but given that she’s roughly the right age to play Hera Sydnulla at this point in the timeline—roughly ten years after the conclusion of Star Wars: Rebels—some fans wondered if she would play the beloved character in a live-action setting.
Hera Syndulla was briefly shown from behind at Star Wars Celebration earlier this year, revealing that she will be making her live-action film debut in Ahsoka.
The series was already looking like it might be a continuation of the successful animated series Rebels with Natashia Liu Bordizzo cast as Sabine Wren and Ahsoka on the prowl for Grand Admiral Thrawn.
It now appears that the series will be a Ghost family reunion if the rumours surrounding Winstead’s hiring as Hera are accurate.
