Megan Thee Stallion’s boyfriend speaks out amid Tory Lanez trial

The 32-year-old Pardi said, “To any woman, especially ones of colour who has endured an injustice,” in a pointed Instagram Story posted on Thursday.

He said, “I feel for you.” In an instant, you can change from a defendant in the eyes of the public to anyone with a daughter, sister, mother, niece, or aunt. “When you do find the courage to speak up.. it seems you will be ridiculed.. your credibility will [be] questioned.. your entire past will be held under a magnifying glass.

Added he, “I ask God to keep them safe. I ask for their protection. No one would get this from me.”

Megan, 27, testified alongside Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney Kathy Ta on the second day of the trial on December 13 and voiced her dissatisfaction with how the matter had been handled, particularly among male artists.

Megan spoke to the support Lanez has gotten since the event and said, “Every male in a position of power in the music industry has taken his side.”

She continued, “Not a day goes by without being labelled a liar. “I don’t know why, but this whole thing is about who I was having sex with, not who shot me.” (Megan had previously denied having a sexual relationship with Lanez at the time of the event but admitted it later that day.)

During the Tory Lanez trial, Megan Thee Stallion becomes emotional and says, “I just don’t feel good.”
Ta went on to discuss how Megan was a rising celebrity at the time of the incident and how she feels it has altered the course of her life.

Because of her recent collaboration with Beyoncé, Megan revealed that she “didn’t want to say anything” about her shooting. “I just fulfilled a long-held desire, but it will now be eclipsed. Since I’ve become more of a villain while he’s a hero, this scenario has gotten worse for me.”

When asked if she was more well-known and prosperous than Lanez at the time of the alleged shooting, she said with confidence, “Yes.” Lanez’s expression changed from blank to astonished and horrified, and she eventually mouthed “Okay” as she proceeded to testify.

She stated that Fontaine is also being affected by the unfavourable attention.

Regarding Fontaine having to witness the ongoing coverage of her sexual history, Megan said, “I feel ashamed, I feel dirty, and my own spouse feels embarrassed.”

She attempted to avoid discussing the claimed shooting by saying, “I can’t even smile… I don’t want to speak with my family or friends.”

In October 2020, Lanez, 30, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, was charged with three felony offences: assault with a semiautomatic firearm, personal use of a firearm, and transportation of a loaded, unregistered firearm. In November 2020, he entered a not guilty plea to both allegations.
