Megan Thee Stallion’s ex-bodyguard Justin Edison goes missing

Megan Thee Stallion’s former bodyguard — and a key witness in the case against Tory Lanez — has vanished ahead of her scheduled appearance in court, a rep said.

The rapper Lanez is currently being sued for assault after it was claimed that he shot Megan in the foot in 2020. Justin Edison, a former member of the rapper’s security team, is scheduled to testify in the case next week.

However, a lawyer representing Megan Thee Stallion claimed on Saturday that Edison’s evidence appeared to be in jeopardy.

“We recently learned that Justin Edison went missing right before he was scheduled to appear in court,” the attorney, Alex Spiro, told TMZ Saturday.

Spiro said the LAPD is “currently looking into his disappearance,” but a spokesperson for the department told The Post that a missing person’s case has not been opened on Edison.

When asked if it was wrong to say the police were searching for Edison, the spokesperson said, “Yeah, because it makes him look sound like he’s a criminal.”

The Shade Room was informed by a source that Edison’s lawyer had not heard from him since Thursday.

In response to allegations that he shot Megan after the two of them left a 2020 party at Kylie Jenner’s house, Lanez, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, has entered a not-guilty plea. He is accused with negligent discharge of a firearm, assault with a firearm, and illegal possession of a handgun.

Megan tearfully testified on Tuesday that Lanz shot her after a disagreement about a love triangle broke out on the way home because he was angry they left the party.

When Megan requested to exit the vehicle, Lanez’ bodyguard and her companion Kelsey Harris were in the vehicle, according to Megan. Then Lanez allegedly started shooting at her while yelling, “Dance, bitch!”

That evening, Harris contacted Megan’s manager, “Help. 911” and admitted to firing the revolver, telling prosecutors in September that Tory had shot Meg. She stated in court on Wednesday that she was not present when Lanz shot Megan.

The shooting, according to Lanez’s team, may have involved Megan and Harris.
