Princess Charlene Says Her Family Is Her ‘Rock’ During Health Recovery

The Princess, who grew up in South Africa, marked the 10th anniversary of her organization on Wednesday.

Charlene spoke in a royal family room adjacent to a black-and-white image of Princess Grace and a framed Christmas photo of her 8-year-old children Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella.

Charlene told Monaco Matin she feels better than she has in years. “I have less pain and more energy.”

“I’m still improving and rebalancing,” she remarked. “Still, I’m pleased. My family is my rock. I tackle things day-by-day, step-by-step.”

The princess claimed her children were “born with obligations and duties” but are still learning royal tasks.

“When my husband, Prince Albert, and I have to go to an event or ceremony, we tell them what it’s about,” said Charlene, whose two chihuahuas, Tia and Harley, were playing next to her on the couch.

“They like coming with us, and the Prince is fun to do these things with,” she said about their time together as a family. “But, as I said,” she said, “they are still young. They need to keep watching and learning until it feels natural to them.”

The Princess emphasised how important it was by giving the example of the children’s recent appearances, such as on National Day in November, which was the first big family reunion in three years.

“Our children were delighted to celebrate National Day, and we were happy of how mature they were,” she told Monaco Matin. We value family.

“National Day is a chance to celebrate with family and meet Monaco residents. Jacques wore his father’s outfit this year. Gabriella proudly displayed her award.”

She stated, “They speak their own language and understand one other.” Prince Albert jokingly called them “very much accomplices.”

Charlene stated, “They adore one other and are nice.” I can see the twins’ remarkable bond.
