RM’s album Indigo breaks first-week sales records

RM, a member of BTS, achieved solo music chart history with his most recent album, Indigo.

On December 11, Soompi announced that sales of RM’s eagerly awaited new album Indigo exceeded six lac copies in its first week of availability.

According to Hanteo Chart, RM sold an impressive total of 619,232 copies, making the BTS member the fifth K-pop male soloist artist in Hanteo history to reach this milestone.

In terms of first-week sales, RM is the male soloist who came in fifth, behind BTS member Jin, EXO’s Baekhyun, Lim Young Woong, and Kim Ho Joong.

RM’s debut solo album, Indigo, was released on December 2, 2022.

After J-Hope and Jin, the 28-year-old vocalist is the third member of BTS to release his debut solo single album.
