Harry Melling being recognized for other roles other then Harry Potter

• For many years, Harry Melling’s portrayal as Dudley Dursley in the Harry Potter.
• Series was possibly his most well-known part; nevertheless.
• He now claims that things appear to be shifting.

Harry Melling-year-old former child actor, who first appeared in 2001’s Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, said he is “always astounded at the generational force” of the franchise, but he is recently gained attention for his work as an adult.

“Now that my friends’ children are [into the books], they exclaim, “Uncle Harry’s Dudley!” It goes without saying that I will talk about Harry Potter if someone introduces it to me “said Melling. However, it does seem as though the story is shifting, which is fantastic

Melling recently made appearances in The Queen’s Gambit and The Devil All the Time before taking on the role of a fictionalised Edgar Allan Poe in Netflix’s The Pale Blue Eye.

“I would just like the conversation to be about what I am doing now instead of something I did when I was 10,” Melling said, adding that he is not embarrassed to have played Dudley and recognises “it is always going to be there.”
