Hrithik Roshan and his kid watch Pathaan

Pathaan, starring John Abraham, Deepika Padukone, and Shah Rukh Khan, hit theatres on January 25. Bollywood celebrities such as Hrithik Roshan, Anurag Kashyap, Rajkummar Rao, Patralekha, Bhumika Chawla, and many more watched the movie on opening day in addition to SRK fans. At the Pathaan special screening on Wednesday, numerous celebrities like Sussanne Khan, Gauri Khan, Rani Mukerji, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Vaibhavi Merchant, and Vidyut Jammwal were also sighted.

In attendance at the Pathaan screening was actor Vidyut Jammwal, who was accompanied by spouse fashion designer Nandita Mahtani. As one of Bollywood’s top action stars, the actor informed photographers as he entered the theatre, “Duniya ke sabse bade action superstar ko dekhne ja raha hoon (I am going to witness the largest action superstar of the world).” Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, both actors, were seen coming for the screening. The duo had on identical black clothing. Ranveer wore black sunglasses as well. At the Pathaan special screening on Wednesday, Rani Mukerji also showed up. Yash Raj Films is in charge of making the movie.

Rani posed for a group photo with Gauri Khan, Sussanne Khan as well as their friends and stars of the Netflix show Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives – Neelam Kothari, Maheep Kapoor and Bhavna Pandey; Seema Sajdeh was missing in the pictures shared from Pathaan screening. Posting a bunch of photos from the screening, designer Nandita Mahtani wrote on Instagram, “Pathaan! What a film! Gauri, Shah Rukh… congratulations!”

Hrithik Roshan was spotted with his son earlier in the day watching Pathaan in a Mumbai theatre. Pashmina Roshan, an aspiring actor and cousin of Hrithik, had also joined them. Pathaan was also seen at a theatre by director Rakesh Roshan and his wife Pinkie Roshan. Pathaan was seen in a theatre by actors Rajkummar Rao and Patralekha as well. After watching the movie, Patralekha stated to the paparazzi, “Amazing. It was wonderful, and the music was excellent.”

Filmmaker Sajid Khan, who was recently seen on Bigg Boss 16, told paparazzi after watching Pathaan that the action in the film was ‘superb’. Govinda’s daughter Tina Ahuja and son Yashvardan Ahuja were also spotted outside a Mumbai theatre, where they watched Pathaan. Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap also watched Pathaan in a theatre on Wednesday, and said in Hindi, “It is a very special film for us all, Shah Rukh has come back on the big screen…”

After Shah Rukh Khan made a comeback with Pathaan, fans in India erupted in raucous celebrations as they cheered, danced, and tossed confetti inside and outside theatres to mark the actor’s first movie in a main role in four years. In Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva, which was published in September 2022, Shah Rukh had a significant cameo appearance. Zero was Shah Rukh’s last major motion picture role (2018). In addition to Shah Rukh, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham also appear in the Siddharth Anand-directed film Pathaan. On January 25, the action movie was released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
