On Tuesday, January 10th (IST), The Vampire Diaries star Ian rushed to social media to share the fantastic news with their friends, fans, and well-wishers. He posted a photo of his wife Nikki cuddling their first child, Bodhi, while cradling her unborn bump. She was spotted wearing a brown bodycon dress and a white cap.

The actor captioned the shot with an emotional caption, “All I’ve ever desired since I was a young boy was to have a big family.” He also conveyed his gratitude to Nikki, writing, “Thank you Nik for giving me that gift. ROUND TWO IS HERE!!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you to this beautiful human for the gift of life and love, for being the best mom ever and working so hard to make dreams come true!!! I couldn’t believe what I was seeing through the camera when capturing this photograph. Nothing is more lovely…” “All I want is that everyone sends positivity,” he said at the end of the caption to his friends and followers.

5. May 4, 2017: Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder announce their first pregnancy

On May 4^th, 2017, Ian and Nikki announced that they are expecting their first child. Sharing a sweet photo of Ian kissing her baby bump, Nikki wrote a caption that read, “Hi Little One I know you, but only because I feel you. How is it possible to love someone so much already? All I know for sure is it’s the strongest feeling I’ve ever felt. We’ve been sharing this body for quite some time, and we’ve already experienced so much together.
