James Van Der Beek appreciates as his family looks ahead to 2023

The Van Der Beeks enjoy their holidays, and James has mentioned that he gets “SUPER emotional” when he imagines “Halloween through the eyes of a child.”

This family outing in the middle of a frantic week “had me borderline weepy about my kids still being young enough to be delighted by lights and pumpkins,” he said. “I’ve been SO busy, so stressed – all with ‘essential’ (and really exciting) stuff.”

“It’s true that @pumpkinnights was a Texas-sized spectacular… But despite all my preparation and work to provide a bright future for my children, it was #jackolanterns and frightening music that brought me back to the present. and reaffirmed that nothing is more crucial.”
