Kenya Moore says she has the ‘world’s longest divorce’

Kenya Moore, 51, and Daly’s divorce in May 2021 have been referred to as “the world’s longest divorce” by broadcaster Andy Cohen.

Cohen, 54, retorted, “Well, Bethenny [Frankel] has that title but you’re going close,” alluding to the former cast member of The Real Housewives of New York City’s contentious split with Jason Hoppy.

Moore stated she was “still not divorced” during the RHOA reunion in September.

According to Moore, alimony or child support were not the main reason for the delay in divorce: “At this moment, he is not requesting anything. It’s just at a stalemate, so it will continue until we receive a trial date or reach a settlement.”

Moore claimed that even though she was still married, her impending divorce did not prevent her from dating. I’m definitely participating in group dating, and I’m getting some attention, but nothing serious yet, she admitted.

Brooklyn, Moore and Daly’s 4-year-old daughter, was born in the same month of June 2017. In September 2019, less than a year later, they had their first breakup. Although they appeared to briefly revive their relationship in February 2020, Daly announced that the couple had once again broken up in January 2021

Moore filed for divorce in May of that year, claiming in court papers that she had been living apart from her husband since September 2019 and that their marriage had been irretrievably damaged.

Moore also expressed her annoyance with the stagnant split on WWHL in May of last year, pointing out that the delay wasn’t her fault. Moore remarked at the time, “I feel like it’s been going on for years, too. “I desire for it to end. The obstruction is over there.”

She added, “Get me out of here!” “Free me up!”
