Lisa Marie Presley passed away at the age of 54, Priscilla Presley confirmed.

Priscilla released a statement on Thursday, saying, “It is with a heavy heart that I must share the tragic news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us.” She was the most fervent, powerful, and loving woman I’ve ever met.

Jerry Schilling, her close friend and talent manager, was seen leaving West Hills Hospitals and Medical Center after her tragic demise. As he got into his car, he made care to thank the medical staff.

The adored daughter of legendary musician Elvis Presley and actress Priscilla was sent to West Hills Hospital and Medical Center in California on January 12 after experiencing cardiac arrest, where she was receiving the “best care.”

EMTs used CPR to revive the singer-songwriter prior to transfer. She was put into a medically induced coma a few hours later, and her condition was severe.

According to sources, Lisa Marie Presley “coded many times” following a cardiac arrest, and there didn’t seem to be any narcotics present.

Just a few days earlier, Lisa Marie appeared to be in good condition as she joined her mother at the 2023 Golden Globes to cheer for Austin Butler, who won the prize for best drama performance for his portrayal of Lisa Marie’s father in Baz Luhrman’s “Elvis.”

When Butler entered the stage to accept his medal and stated, “Lisa Marie, Priscilla, I love you forever,” the “Lights Out” singer started crying.

Actually, Lisa Marie Presley had been experiencing stomach issues the day before the awards ceremony. In 1968, Lisa Marie was born in Memphis, Tennessee. She was Elvis and Priscilla’s sole child.

Lisa Marie, who shared the same passion for music as her illustrious father, released three of her own recordings during the course of her career, including “To Whom It May Concern” in 2003, which was awarded gold certification, “Now What” in 2005, and “Storm & Grace” in 2012.

After her father’s passing, Lisa Marie took over the management of the Elvis Presley Charity Foundation to ensure that his charitable work endured much after his lifetime.

The “You Are Not Alone” video star had four children of her own and was a mother as well, but tragedy struck her family almost three years ago.

Benjamin Keough, her son, committed suicide in July 2020 after shooting himself in the head.

“My lovely beautiful angel,” the bereaved mother cried in a message on what would have been her son’s 28th birthday. On this planet as well as in Heaven, I revered the ground you trod on. My entire being accompanied you.

“Depth of pain surrounds me without you every second of every day, bottomless and suffocating. I’ll never be the same again, she continued.

“Wait for me, my darling, and hold my hand as I stay to continue to look out for Riley and to protect and raise your young sisters. You would desire it, I know that.

Five years after their breakup, Lisa Marie experienced even more sorrow when her divorce from her fourth husband, Michael Lockwood, became permanent in May 2021.

Besides Michael Jackson from 1994 to 1996 and Nicolas Cage from 2002 to 2004, she was also married to Danny Keough from 1988 to 1994. The actress had also been extremely open about her addiction difficulties in her later years.

When she gave birth to her twin daughters, Vivienne and Finley, in 2008, Lisa Marie said she developed an addiction to opioids and painkillers in the foreword to Harry Nelson’s book “The United States of Opioids: A Prescription for Liberating a Nation in Pain.”
In the book, she stated that it was time to put addiction’s shame behind us.

Elvis, Lisa Marie’s father, has a history of substance misuse as well. His eldest daughter became the only inheritor of his inheritance after his passing in 1977.

In order to discover a source of faith during a difficult time, Priscilla introduced Lisa Marie into the Church of Scientology about this time. But by 2014, the daughter of a rock legend had completely abandoned the divisive faith.

Lisa Marie later disclosed that her share of the $100 million wealth owned by King of Rock ‘n’ Roll had been spent in June 2018.

The “You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet” singer filed a lawsuit against her former business partner for mishandling the money, and it is believed that she was still in debt at the time of her passing.

She is survived by Riley Keough, her 33-year-old eldest daughter, in addition to her twins.
