Prince Harry worries for Prince William children

Prince Harry said he worries for the fortunes of brother William’s children as they could “end up like him”.

In the current line of succession, Prince William is next in line to the throne and will be sworn in if his father, King Charles, dies.

Following William is his eldest child, Prince George, who is nine years old.

However, he is followed by his two siblings, Princess Charlotte, seven, and Prince Louis, four. Their uncle, Prince Harry, expressed concern that “at least” one of them will be a spare – just like him.

“I know that out of those three children, at least one will end up like me, the spare. he told The Telegraph.

“And that hurts, it worries me.”

Despite his concerns for his nieces and nephews, he later added that what he was saying was dismissed by his brother William.

“He has made it very clear to me that his kids are not my responsibility.” Harry added.

The idea of being a “spare” to the heir runs throughout the Duke of Sussex’s book.

He addressed it in one of his many television interviews, when he appeared on Good Morning America last week.

After labelling his estranged brother Prince William his “arch-nemesis” in his memoir, the duke took another shot at him.

“Ultimately, I don’t think we can ever have peace in my family unless the truth is out there,” he told GMA host Michael Strahan during the interview.

“You refer to your beloved brother as an arch-nemesis – strong words,” Michael said.

He then makes a pointed remark,  “So the heir was jealous of the spare?”.
