Jen Shah, a member of the “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,” would not meet with Bravo presenter Andy Cohen to talk about the effects of her prison sentence.

In a message on Instagram on Thursday, the 49-year-old convicted fraudster announced that “I will not be doing the 1:1 with Andy Cohen and Bravo.”

Shah claimed that the network’s stated “unwillingness to eliminate contractual provisions” is the reason why she is passing up an opportunity.

The reality star claimed she didn’t want her “narrative, relating to any and all matters, preceding and during the course of my involvement” on “RHOSLC” to be “misrepresented.”

Since its 2020 debut, Shah has had a leading role in the popular unscripted series. Part 1 of the Season 3 reunion, which excludes the embattled Bravolebrity, will premiere on Wednesday. Season 3 recently finished airing.

She stated, “This particular one-on-one interview was not included in my RHOSLC reality television contract. “I vowed not to let this part of my life be sensationalized or wrongly represented, to myself and my loving family.”

Inability to control my own story and the fact that “too many people have been affected by my actions” were other remarks made by Shah.

“I would rather keep mute and wait until I am able to accurately share my story than continue having utter lies and misrepresentations about me plastered over headlines,” she continued.

Shah promised to speak out soon as she put an end to her post. She wrote, “You will hear from me. I’ll soon tell my narrative and about this difficult time in my life.

Cohen, 54, expressed excitement about a probable interview with Shah earlier this month.

Days before Cohen’s remarks, Shah was given a six-and-a-half-year prison term for organizing a nationwide telemarketing campaign that mostly targeted frail seniors.

Shah apologized to the victims and her family following her court appearance in New York City.

She looked to her husband Sharrieff Shah and their kids Sharrieff Jr. and Omar and said, “I am terribly and deeply sorry.”

Before admitting that her actions “damaged innocent people,” Jen asserted that she “went against” her core beliefs of “humility, loyalty, and respect.”

On February 17, she will start serving her term in a federal prison in Texas.
