Ruby Barker reveals her father has died

Ruby Barker captioned a collection of pictures of herself as a young child spending time with her father, “Rest in peace Daddy, I love you more than life itself.” “I hope I made you proud and will keep doing so.”

She said, “This world is less bright without you, and I will never get over this.”

Despite withholding information about her father’s passing, Barker did include a thank-you message for the “Glasgow general infirmary,” a hospital in Glasgow, Scotland.

Julia Quinn, author of the Bridgerton novels upon which the TV series was adapted, commented with her condolences: “I am so sorry for your loss, Ruby. May his memory be a blessing.”

Just a few months had passed since Barker went through another trying emotional time. The actress revealed to her Instagram fans in May of last year that, after struggling “for a really long period,” she had been sent to a hospital for mental health difficulties.

However, Barker told followers she was feeling much better after being released at the end of that month. I am doing okay for myself, and I am in a great setting right now to take some time to myself and relax and breathe, so I can not wait for the future,” she remarked.
