Shamoon Abbasi shared video of scary sounds coming from Karachi graveyard

Pakistan’s famous actor, director and screenwriter Shamoon Abbasi has shared a tear-jerking video of Karachi’s DHA graveyard.

Shamoon Abbasi reached the cemetery for the purpose of reciting Fatiha on the grave of his father Zubair Abbasi.

It was the night time when he suddenly heard some strange sounds from Gate No. 2 of Khayaban Iqbal. There he made a video of a few seconds and Shared on Facebook.

In the post with the video, Shamoon Abbasi wrote that I made this video at Gate No. 2 of the DHA cemetery when I went there to read Surah Fatiha at my father’s grave.

Shamoon wrotes that “I saw the cemetery was in darkness and there was no arrangement to illuminate the premises. There was no light so that I could see anything.”

“I was surprised, as you can see in this video, this is Gate No. 2 of Khayaban Jabal Cemetery.”

Shamoon further wrote that this dark environment made me think to capture it on camera to show some authorities and ask them to have mercy on this cemetery and provide lights there.

“And that’s when I suddenly heard this strange sound, like a creature screaming.”

According to Shamoon, these sounds continued for 12, 13 minutes.

I was confused, so I turned off the camera and went closer to the graveyard to hear the sound clearly, they said. The closer I got, the more terrifying the sound became… I realized that the sound was coming from near the gate.

“I was alone and could not share this terrible moment with anyone at that time… So I kept looking inside the graveyard which was locked. I couldn’t see anything but the sound was now crystal clear!”

He wrote that I have dogs in my house, being close to dogs, cats or animals I can identify the sounds or screams of animals… but this sound was really scary!

He further wrote that I am shocked by the DHA authorities how abandoned this graveyard is without lighting. And above all these kind of strange happenings in cemeteries are really scary.

He wrote that God’s message!! Have some mercy on the souls of the dead and show some respect for the departed.

They demanded that lights should be installed in the cemetery for God. DHA’s name will go down in history as one of the most inhumane acts of the era.
