The items up for auction for charity next month include a BTS member’s outfit, Eminem’s autographed tennis shoes, and Taylor Swift’s acoustic guitar.
At the MusiCares Charity Relief Auction on February 5, according to Julien’s Auctions, memorabilia from some of the most well-known musicians will be put up for auction.
MusiCares, an organisation dedicated to assisting musicians in times of financial and medical hardship, will receive 100% of the earnings from the event held after the Grammy Awards ceremony.
A signed Epiphone acoustic guitar that appeared on Swift’s 2020 “evermore” album artwork could draw between $5,000 and $10,000. Eminem wrote the words “Shady” on a white pair of Nike Air Max that could go for up to $3,000. A black utility-style jumpsuit and buckle belt worn by BTS’s J-Hope during a photo shoot for his debut solo album “Jack In the Box” could garner up to $4,000.
The sound systems will be donated by Snoop Dogg and his son Cordell, along with a unique NFT that might sell for up to $8,000.
Several objects by Joni Mitchell will be put up for auction, including a signed print of her original Jimi Hendrix oil painting. Former Van Halen lead vocalist David Lee Roth will also put a signed acrylic on canvas entitled “Dark Ocean” up for auction.
Both Katy Perry’s 2019 FIFA Live Performance and Olivia Rodrigo’s specially crafted “Chopova Lowena” 2022 Glastonbury Festival outfit are anticipated to be auctioned off.
