Varun Dhawan shares when he will again work with Alia Bhatt

Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt were spotted together again at an awards show event. Later this year, the actors will perform at the Zee Cine Awards.

Alia will return to the stage for the first time since giving birth to Raha Kapoor in November 2022. Varun also provided an update on when he and Alia Bhatt might collaborate on a film. He stated that they are still looking for a project that will work for both of them.

Alia Bhatt admitted that she was nervous about returning to the stage after it was announced that she and Varun would be performing at the awards ceremony. “I’m quite nervous since it has been a while since I’ve performed on stage. I’ve not had that stage show performance adrenaline in a very long time,” She added that she couldn’t remember the last time she was on an awards stage for a performance.

When asked about working with Alia again, Varun joked, “I’m very busy, I just had a baby.” He continued, ” “To be honest, working with Alia is like that one time when I’m constantly on my toes. She always makes me work hard. Any discussions about working together creatively must always be the best. It has to be something she and I enjoy doing so that we don’t disappoint the audience. It’s a lively debate. The only reason it’s taking so long is that we’re also looking for something that’s best for us.”

In 2012, Alia and Varun made their acting debut alongside Sidharth Malhotra in Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year. They have also appeared in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014), Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017), and Kalank (2018). (2019).

Varun was last seen in the family drama Jugjugg Jeeyo, alongside Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, and Neetu Kapoor.

He also appeared alongside Kriti Sanon in the horror comedy Bhediya. Meanwhile, Alia had a successful 2022 with Gangubai Kathiawadi, RRR, Darlings, and Brahmstra: Part One – Shiva. With the Netflix film Darlings, she also became a producer.
