Vicky Kaushal, Sunny Deol, Sidharth Malhotra, Suniel Shetty, and others posted poignant condolences to the Indian Army on social media. Vicky said on Instagram that he was “shooting with the Army” on this auspicious day while filming Meghna Gulzar’s next drama Sam Bahadur.

Vicky Kaushal captioned a shot he shared on Instagram on Sunday with members of the Indian Army and the cast and crew of his movie, “Shooting on Army Day with the Army. Warmest wishes on the 75th Army Day to All Ranks from Team Sam Bahadur…”

The movie is a biography of Sam Manekshaw, a former chief of army staff for the Indian Army who passed away in 2008. Sam Bahadur also stars Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh.

For Army Day, Sidharth Malhotra posted a statement on Twitter. In the 2021 movie Shershah, the actor Vikram Batra played the hero of the Kargil battle.

On Sunday, he tweeted, “Our Indian braves standing guard keeps the nation safe at utmost peace. Their sacrifice and service has always been commendable. Salutes and wishes to the army, veterans and their families on the occasion of Army Day.”

These remarks were posted on Instagram Stories by Rajkummar Rao, Rakul Preet Singh, and Abhishek Bachchan.

Several more Bollywood celebrities posted messages on social media honouring Indian soldiers on the occasion of the 75th Army Day.

Actor Abhishek Bachchan posted a message on Instagram Stories with the caption, “Saluting you today and everyday! Celebrating the bravehearts who guard our nation… Indian Army Day.”

“A salute to the Indian Army for their unwavering bravery to safeguard our country, today and every day!” wrote actor Ananya Panday on Instagram Stories.

On Instagram Stories, actor Rajkummar Rao posted a message with the caption, “Happy Indian army day, Saluting the brave hearts of our country! Jai Hind.”

Happy Indian Army Day, the actor Rakul Preet Singh remarked on Instagram Stories. “Happy Indian Army Day. Coming from an army background I am aware of the sacrifices that come along with it. Here’s saluting the brave men who selflessly serve the nation.”
