Alia Bhatt congratulates ex-Sidharth on his marriage to Kiara

Sidharth Malhotra’s wedding to Kiara Advani took place on Tuesday, and Alia Bhatt sent her best wishes to her co-star in Student of the Year. At the Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer, Sidharth and Kiara exchanged vows in front of invited members of the film industry. Before ending their romance, Alia and Sidharth were once together. Last year, Alia wed her longtime partner, Ranbir Kapoor.

Late on Tuesday, Alia Bhatt posted a wedding photo of the pair on Instagram Stories, showing Sidharth caressing Kiara’s cheek. She also included the words “Congratulations you two” and a heart emoji.

Varun Dhawan also shared a photo of Sidharth and Kiara exchanging namastes at their wedding on Instagram Stories. Along with some heart emojis, he added the words “Wishing you a lifetime of love” to the message.

In the comments area of their wedding post, several other people left well wishes for Kiara and Sidharth. The couple shared three candid wedding photos on their individual Instagram sites many hours after the ceremony, writing, “Ab humari permanent booking hogayi hai” (We are now booked permanently). As we continue our journey, we ask for your love and blessings.

There were not many visitors from the film industry for the wedding, which was held in strict secrecy. During the baaraat, Karan Johar, who made Sidharth, Alia, and Varun famous with Student of the Year in 2012, danced. The wedding was also attended by Juhi Chawla, Armaan Jain and his wife Anissa Malhotra, Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Rajput, and Juhi. According to rumors, they will host two wedding parties, one on February 9 in Delhi and the second on February 10 in Mumbai on February 12.

Additionally, Sidharth and Alia collaborated on the 2016 movie Kapoor and Sons. In April of last year, she wed Ranbir in their Mumbai residence. Raha, a daughter, was also born to the couple in November.

Natasha Dalal, Varun Dhawan’s childhood sweetheart, and he are both married. In January 2021, amid the Covid epidemic, they were wed. Both Alia and Varun’s weddings featured chosen industry guests. All three of his three “students'” weddings were attended by SOTY director Karan Johar.
