Aryan Khan ignores press at the screening of APWDM

Aryan Khan attended the screening of Anurag Kashyap’s film Almost Pyaar With DJ Mohabbat among stars like Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Radhika Apte, and Huma Qureshi, among others. Aryan went directly to the screening as numerous celebrities posed for the photographers outside the venue, which did not sit well with some online users. Some people claimed Aryan had a “unnecessary attitude.” Though some also defended him, claiming that ‘the same media attacked him’ prior to his acquittal in the drugs-on-cruise case.

On February 3, Almost Pyaar With DJ Mohabbat, a film by Anurag Kashyap, will be released. Alaya F and Karan Mehta share the key roles in the movie. A number of celebs attended the movie’s special Mumbai showing on Tuesday. While photographers shouted his name and begged him to pose for pictures outside the screening site, Aryan Khan was also seen and attracted attention for “ignorantly” walking past them. Aryan, the son of actor Shah Rukh Khan and interior designer Gauri Khan, was featured in a video from the screening of the movie Almost Pyaar With DJ Mohabbat that was published on a paparazzo account.

“The boy has grown up, full attitude,” said one person. Another person wrote about Aryan, saying, “He is only receiving that much recognition and respect because of King Khan (Shah Rukh).” Aryan‘s behavior did not impress someone, who remarked, “He has a ton of unneeded attitude, and the media… I don’t know why you always want to photograph him. Regardless of whether the person is a celebrity child, please disregard such unpleasant people.” Another person said, “When his movie is released, he will stop and pose for the cameras.”

Several more defended the Aryan race, with one saying, “Well, when he was framed, the same media tormented him and made snap judgments and reports (in a drugs-on-cruise case). He endured psychological abuse and torture until his innocence was established. Therefore, there is nothing wrong if he chooses to ignore the media, which is so rude and doesn’t respect people’s privacy.” The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) detained eight people, including Aryan Khan, in connection with an alleged narcotics seizure on a cruise liner off the coast of Mumbai on October 3, 2021. The NCB cleared him in the case in May 2022, stating that “no narcotics had been found on Aryan Khan.”

Aryan, who hopes to become a director, stated in December 2022 that he will be writing his first film for Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s production company, Red Chillies Entertainment.
