Mulligan, 37, was one of six actresses nominated for best supporting actress at the London Film Awards on Sunday for her performance in She Said. When a sign language interpreter providing voiceover for actor Troy Kotsur’s presentation accidentally called her name, the Oscar nominee heard it. The actual winner, The Banshees of Inisherin star Kerry Condon, was confirmed by BAFTA to Deadline. According to the outlet, the interpreter who provided voiceover for the CODA Oscar winner appeared to have announced the wrong winner.

According to Deadline, Kotsur and his interpreter corrected the error, and only Condon approached the stage to accept the award. According to the outlet, the organization and the BBC worked quickly to correct the error before the show’s delayed broadcast on Sunday.

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts did not immediately respond to a request for comment from People on Monday. Condon, 40, did not mention the incident when accepting the award for best supporting actress, instead thanking director Martin McDonagh, her costars and crew, and her family for their support throughout her career.

“Thank you for this part, Martin, and for all the parts you’ve given me throughout my career,” the actress said of her work with writer-director Martin McDonagh. “I’m so proud to be an Irish woman because of them.” “I have to thank my horses and my dogs for showing me so much love and giving me so much meaning in my life,” she continued, drawing laughter from the audience.
