Britney Spears’ family and friends were in discussions to arrange an intervention for the pop singer.

Sam Asghari, Spears’ husband, her manager, an interventionist, and doctors intended to try to persuade the 41-year-old singer of “Hold Me Closer” to undergo treatment and sequester her in a residence in Los Angeles for two months.

However, a source exclusively reveals that the intervention never happened since it was thought to be “unnecessary.”

Unfortunately, there is a lot of media hype at the moment, but Britney is fine, and a lot of this has been massively exaggerated and misrepresented, says our insider.

According to reports, the intervention was planned to take place on Tuesday.

Spears did consent to see a doctor, but it is unclear whether it was a therapist or doctor, and the consultation “went well.”

Insiders also told the site that due to a medication-related issue, members of the “… Baby One More Time” singer’s close circle had begun to worry for her wellbeing.

Asghari, 28, posted a video of himself and his wife going shopping on his Instagram Stories on Wednesday, so it seems like things are continuing as normal.

The “Family Business” star captioned the image, saying, “Matching clothes at Target.”

After a series of recent events that raised concerns about her mental health, the “Stronger” singer has reaffirmed time and time again that she is not ill.

Spears was seen becoming agitated in a restaurant in January while fans invaded her space and recorded her. After she deleted her Instagram, other fans contacted the authorities to conduct a wellness check on the “Crossroads” actress.

Police at the time said, “We don’t really comment about any kind of mental health issues or anything like that,” but they also said that Spears was not in any danger.

The “Overprotected” singer later denied having a breakdown on social media, writing on Instagram, “It is what it is… I’m not having a breakdown, I assure you. I am moving forward with who I am as a person. Never have I felt better!

She added that by calling the police, her followers had “gone too far.” People have long attempted to manage Spears’ life and her behavior.

The singer of “Oops!… I Did It Again” was ensnared in a 13-year conservatorship, during which her father, Jamie Spears, had complete control over her financial and personal life.

Britney once claimed in court testimony that the guardianship was the reason she was coerced into entering a mental health facility early in 2019.

Jamie, 70, was removed from his daughter’s conservatorship in September 2021 after receiving harsh public criticism, and it was eventually terminated.

This week’s plans for the intervention did not include Jamie. His representatives could not be reached right away.
