Hansika on her wedding: “My friend being a wife gave me ethereal joy”

Last year, Hansika Motwani began a new chapter in her life when she wed her longtime partner, businessman Sohael Kathuriya. The actress says she is fortunate to have her closest friend as her life partner and acknowledges that it has been a fantastic beginning.

“For every girl, a wedding is a fairy tale. In reality, I was experiencing inner peace more than celebrations. I had an ethereal experience thanks to my loving family, close friends, loved ones, and best friend getting married next to me, Motwani tells us.

The 31-year-old continues, “The nicest decorations for this occasion were the people with wonderful hearts around me. Looking back and remembering all those times makes me feel incredibly fortunate.

The actor admits that her wedding was a lavish event and that, when it came to arranging and carrying out every element, his mother had a significant influence. Naturally, the smoother travel was made possible by my brother Sohael, his parents, and all of our families.

On December 4 of last year, Motwani wed at the 450-year-old Mundota Fort outside of Jaipur. The pre-wedding events, which were attended by her family and close friends, comprised the Haldi ceremony, mehendi, sangeet, Sufi night, a polo match, and an after-party with a casino theme. Mata Chowki opened the wedding festivities.

She has always kept her personal life private, but as a gift to her admirers, she has decided to let them inside the entire wedding planning process. And that’s the idea behind Hansika’s Love Shaadi Drama, a web series based on her wedding.

The actor, who broke into the business as a child performer, explains the inspiration behind it, saying, “Growing up as an actor from infancy, I have always been recognized as a member of every family. Fans have seen me in front of the camera when I was a young child and now that I’m an established actress. My family includes all of my fans, not just those who are related to me by blood.

“Fans from all over the world greeted me as soon as my impending marriage was revealed. In fact, due to logistical difficulties, we were unable to hold the wedding ceremony with the participation of as many people as desired. Even though I thoroughly loved the entire wedding ceremony, I felt horrible that they weren’t there. Since Hansika‘s Love Shaadi Drama will be available on a streaming site with global reach, she says, “I’m happy to have my wedding streamed so that my fans, friends, and well-wishers may watch.

She took a protracted pause following her wedding to relax. She has resumed her work and is enjoying her busy schedule. “I am excited to try out different roles and scripts for the several projects I have planned for this year. My OTT debut, “MY3,” excites me. A few projects have already been finished, and more new movies will soon be unveiled.”
