Kiara Advani greets her mother a happy birthday by sharing candid family photos

A number of previously unreleased family photos were posted by actor Kiara Advani on Instagram on Wednesday, some weeks after her nuptials to actor Sidharth Malhotra. She posted the unguarded images as a birthday greeting for her mother Genevieve Jaffrey. Photos from the wedding day, the mehendi ceremony, and the Sangeet night are all included.
Kiara shared them on Instagram with the simple caption, “Mumma. Happy birthday to my lovely, kind, and prayerful mother! Blessed to be your daughter, I say.

In the first photo from the wedding, Kiara is posing with her mother, who is wearing a delicate pink lehenga to match her. Another image from the same day, this one in monochrome format, is displayed after it. Between her mother and her brother Mishaal Advani, Kiara is depicted in the picture. She closes her eyes but has a big smile on her face while her mother pouts at her.

The third image is a family photo taken at Sidharth and Kiara’s mehendi. It depicts the pair posing among Kiara’s parents, brother, and sister. Kiara can be seen with Sidharth’s arms around her waist. The next image is of Kiara receiving a kiss on the cheek from her mother, who was twinned with her in a golden outfit for the Sangeet night.

Wishing her mother was fashion designer Manish Malhotra, who created the family’s outfits for the wedding festivities. Happy birthday to Janam, he commented in the comments area. “Uggghhh this is just wonderful,” commented a fan of @jaanamge. “Aunty looks amazing as usual.” “Lovely daughter with wonderful mother,” another person said. “Mat karo photo release, mujhe exams pe concentrate karna hai,” read another comment.

On February 7, Kiara and Sidharth exchanged vows in a conventional Hindu wedding at Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer. Only a few chosen industry celebrities attended the closely guarded event. Within a week, the couple hosted receptions for Kiara’s family and their Bollywood friends in Mumbai and Sidharth’s family in Delhi.
