According to the reports, a woman accused of stealing French bulldogs from Lady Gaga is now suing the singer for breach of contract after she was promised a $500,000 payment.
Jennifer McBride claims that Gaga, 36, made it plain that she would pay the significant cash “no questions asked” if her pets were delivered without damage.
After her purebred puppies, Koji and Gustav, were taken from her dog walker under duress in February 2021, the “Stupid Love” singer made the announcement.
Two days after they were kidnapped, on February 26, 2021, McBride allegedly returned the pups to Gaga at the LAPD Olympic Communities station, according to the reports.
Later, McBride was accused of receiving stolen items and aiding and abetting the crime in connection with the theft. She apparently dated Ryan Fischer, the father of one of the attackers who attacked Lady Gaga’s dog walker.
McBride eventually entered a plea of not guilty to one count of receiving stolen property and received a two-year probation sentence.
McBride wants more than $500,000, according to the reports. Gaga is being sued by the plaintiff for $1.5 million in damages for allegedly promoting a deceptive prize.
As was previously said, on February 24, 2021, Fischer was walking three of Gaga’s dogs in Los Angeles when he was approached by several males who then took two of the Grammy winner’s animals.
Fischer was hit in the chest during the process and sent to the hospital. Fortunately, he lived through his wounds.
Police identified James Howard Jackson as the primary offender, and he entered a plea of not guilty to a charge of attempted murder. In the end, he received a 21-year prison term.
