After fans voiced their concerns about his sudden weight loss, Post Malone has responded to allegations that he is using medications.

Real name Austin Richard Post, the “Congratulations” rapper “insists he’s happy and healthy and nothing is wrong.”

According to sources close to Malone, 27, “he’s not on drugs or unwell,” so his fans shouldn’t be concerned, the outlet is told. They also claim that although he recently put on weight for a role in a movie, he has since “adhering to a rigorous diet and working out.”

The rapper has also been on the road since September, doing a 90-minute concert, which has also helped him lose weight. Rich Post, Malone’s father, also commented on his son’s new online persona.

“He’s healthier than ever! Mentally and physically,” he remarked on an Instagram post from a fan page.

After a video of the “White Iverson” rapper singing “I Fall Apart” in Sydney, Australia, leaked on social media earlier this week, fans were shocked to see him appearing a lot leaner.

“I just watched a video of Post Malone performing. He presents a poor image. He is jerking and appears to have lost weight. I hope he’s alright. I’m that dude,” one user tweeted.

I’m a little concerned about your rapid weight loss. It’s not like me. Please stay healthy,” a third person said.

The new parent was defended by some fans who claimed that he constantly performs with great enthusiasm and “isn’t doing drugs anymore.”

Evidently, Post Malone struggles to perform his own song with feeling without making folks assume he’s high. Literally, this song [sic] is so emotionally charged that I find it difficult to see how anyone could sing it without showing emotion, according to a tweet.

“Post Malone isn’t using hard drugs anymore, which explains why his music has altered so much and he looks so much better. Now that he’s singing passionately, it would be awkward if he were stiff. however, how else is he supposed to do “I Fall Apart”? Yet another ally wrote.

Malone disclosed how his unnamed fiancée assisted him in getting through a “tough” alcoholism struggle last summer.

On the “Howard Stern Show,” on June 13, he remarked of his future bride, “I just have very gorgeous people around me, and I met a really lovely person who made me feel like a human being again.”
