Aditya Roy Kapur plays two roles, for the first time in his career. Mrunal Thakur and Ronit Bose play the police officers on the hunt for the two suspects.

Which one is lying and which is telling the truth? The Gumraah trailer suggests revenge for one or both of them.

When the police in Gumraah have a photo of their murder suspect, they believe they have a clear case.

They are in for a shocking surprise, though, and their case breaks apart when they discover two similar guys as suspects.

The film takes us into the lives of the suspects as they try to solve the mystery. Is it retaliation or cold-blooded murder?

Mrunal Thakur released the film’s trailer on Instagram, writing, “Har kahani ke do pehlu hote hain,Sach aur Jhooth; lekin iss kahani ke pehlu hain Gunaah aur Gumraah! ”

True occurrences are said to have inspired the suspense drama. The suspects are also diametrically opposed.

The first is polished and respectable, whereas the second is a thug with a short fuse. Much of the film also appears to revolve around the police questioning of the two suspects as they attempt to investigate the horrible murder of a young guy.

Vardhan Ketkar, a first-time filmmaker, has previously worked on films such as Brothers (2015), Kapoor & Sons (2016), and Mubarakan. (2017).

Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios are producing Gumraah.

It is a Hindi version of the Tamil movie Thadam, which starred Arun Vijay and Vidya Pradeep in 2019. On April 7, 2023, the thriller will be released in theaters.

Aditya was recently seen alongside Anil Kapoor in the Hindi adaption of the BBC series The Night Manager.

He portrayed an ex-soldier and hotel worker who is recruited to take down a known arms dealer.

Mrunal, who made a cameo appearance in Akshay Kumar’s Selfiee last month, was most recently seen in Dulquer Salmaan’s Telugu smash Sita Raman (2022).
