Alka Yagnik and Govinda celebrate her 57th birthday

• Alka Yagnik celebrated her 57th birthday on Monday and hosted a party for her industry friends on the occasion.
• From singers Adnan Sami, Sonu Nigam, Anuradha Paudwal and lyricist Javed Akhtar to actors Govinda, Bhagyashree, Padmini Kolhapure attended the bash.
• Alka also posed at the party venue with daughter Syesha Kapoor and son-in-law Amit Desai.

On Monday, singer Alka Yagnik celebrated her 57th birthday by throwing a party for her friends in the music industry. The party was attended by actors Govinda, Bhagyashree, and Padmini Kolhapure in addition to singers Adnan Sami, Sonu Nigam, Anuradha Paudwal, and lyricist Javed Akhtar. Alka also posed with her daughter Syesha Kapoor and son-in-law Amit Desai at the party venue. Alka decked up for her birthday celebration in a dark and dim outfit

Govinda went to the party with spouse Sunita. Bhagyashree’s husband, Himalaya Dasani, was also there. She was dressed in black pants and a golden shirt. Padmini Kolhapure was spotted in a black dress, while Poonam Dhillon was dressed in a blue shimmering ensemble.

Sonu Nigam wore a black T-shirt and track pants to the party. A rare appearance at the party was also made by Anuradha Paudwal. She was dressed in a floral green sari. Rahul Vaidya and Sudesh Bhosale, two singers, were also observed. Himesh Reshammiya wore jeans, an unbuttoned shirt, and a black waistcoat when he arrived with wife Sonia Kapur. At the party, Pankaj Udhas was also seen with his wife Farida. After the party, Adnan Sami posed with his wife Roya and daughter Medina for the cameras. Also seen was Anu Malik.

The party was attended by music director Rajesh Roshan, his wife Kanchan, and their daughter Pashmina Roshan. Javed Akhtar was also seen at the bash, where he had attended Satish Kaushik’s prayer meeting in the evening. Pavail Gulati and Parul Gulati, two actors, were also present. Pavail was wearing an orange shirt and jeans, while Parul was wearing a brown top and latex pants.

Syesha Kapoor, Alka’s daughter, wrote, “Happy and healthy birthday to my entire (world emoji)” as she shared an old photo of the singer on her Instagram page earlier in the day. You are because I am. Ma, I adore you.

With 15.3 billion views on YouTube in 2022, singer Alka Yagnik holds two National Film Awards and was named the most streamed artist in the world by Guinness World Records.
