Priscilla Presley worries over Graceland’s fate under Riley Keough’s sole leadership. With the passing of her mother Lisa Marie Presley, Riley Keough sought to maintain a unified front with her extended family.

Yet, friction existed long before Elvis Presley’s only kid passed away on January 12, 2023. Following her passing, it was made official that Riley and her three daughters—14-year-old twins Harper and Finley—would inherit Graceland, the former home of her father, Elvis Presley.

Priscilla, Lisa Marie’s mother and Elvis Presley’s ex-wife, shocked everyone by filing a petition in Los Angeles in January contesting the “authenticity and legitimacy” of a 2016 amendment to Lisa Marie’s trust that removed Priscilla as a co-trustee and replaced Riley with Riley.

According to numerous sources, the two hardly communicate. According to a member of the family, “they do not agree.”

Priscilla and Riley would serve as co-trustees if the 2016 amendment were declared invalid by a judge. According to the family insider, Priscilla does not want Riley to be the only decision-maker since then she would have no voice. Riley does not want Priscilla to butt in, in the meanwhile.

That is an extremely sad scenario, a source close to Daisy Jones & the Six singer, 33, reportedly told People Magazine. Riley is taken aback by Priscilla’s opposition to the proposal. Riley was worried when their father Michael Lockwood, grandmother Priscilla, and uncle Navarone Garibaldi Garcia all travelled together to Lisa Marie’s funeral, according to the source.

Intense custody negotiations between Lockwood and Lisa Marie over the twins lasted until October of last year. According to friends, Lisa Marie was upset that Priscilla supported Michael, and Riley felt the tension as a result.

When it came to Michael, Riley was always on her mother’s side, the insider said. She found it disturbing that Michael and her grandma travelled by plane to the burial together. The insider also revealed that Riley has been “extremely protective” of her 14-year-old twin sisters, Finley and Harper Lockwood, ever since her mother passed away.

According to the insider, Riley and her sisters have always been close. She wishes for their best interests. Drama has surrounded them for a long time.
