Rajinikanth’s next project, directed by Jai Bhim, will be released in 2024

Actor Rajinikanth, whose forthcoming Tamil film Jailer is almost finished, has signed his next project, which will be his 170th movie, for production. On Thursday, Lyca Productions announced on Twitter that they would be financing the upcoming TJ Gnanavel-directed film starring Rajinikanth. It was announced in a statement that the movie will be released in 2024.
With the national award-winning Tamil film Jai Bhim, in which Suriya played a significant role, director TJ Gnanavel gained notoriety. Thalaivar 170 is the project’s working title at the moment. According to reports, Rajinikanth would portray a Muslim police officer in the soon-to-be-released movie.

Rajinikanth is now wrapping up filming on his forthcoming film Jailer. Jailer was recently filmed in Jaisalmer, marking Rajinikanth’s first time working with filmmaker Nelson. Social media users posted a video of Rajinikanth’s automobile being surrounded by supporters outside the Jaisalmer fort. Rajinikanth is seen waving to the crowd.

A Twitter user shared a video of Rajinikanth’s car being surrounded by admirers after they spotted him inside. Some people even ask him to leave if it’s feasible. Rajinikanth may be seen partially sliding down his window to wave as the car pulls away from the scene. Rajinikanth portrays a prison guard in the movie Jailer, and the majority of the action takes place within a jail or prison. In addition to Tamannaah Bhatia and Ramya Krishnan, it also features Shivrajkumar, Mohanlal, and Jackie Shroff in significant roles.

Rajinikanth will also start production on Laal Salaam, the film starring his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth. He will appear in the film in an extended cameo. Aishwarya makes a seven-year comeback to directing with Laal Salaam. Vishnu Vishal and Vikrant play the key parts in the movie, which is rumored to be about communism and cricket.
