When Richard Carpenter of The Carpenters fame gave MM Keeravani, an Oscar-winning composer, and Chandrabose, a lyricist, a special video, they couldn’t have asked for a finer present. Richard sang a cover of The Carpenters’ On Top of the World for team RRR, especially Keeravani and Chandrabose, whose song Naatu Naatu won the Oscar for Best Original Song, in the video that he posted on his Instagram page.
On Top of the World, which has the lines “We are on the top of the world for your winning creation and we hope you know how proud of you we are,” was performed by Richard and his family. We hope this has helped you realize how great you are. Congratulations @mmkeeravani official and @chandraboselyricist: Heartfelt congrats on your win for Best Original Song, he stated in an Instagram post. To you and your family, a small something from our family.
The RRR director, SS Rajamouli, responded to the video by saying, “Sir, my brother remained composed throughout this entire Oscar campaign. Whether before or after winning, he suppressed his feelings. Nevertheless, when he saw this, he was unable to stop the tears that were streaming down his cheeks. This was the most memorable moment for our family. Thank you a lot.”

Upasana, the wife of actor Ram Charan, commented, “This is really nice.” Keeravani further added, “I certainly didn’t anticipate this. tears of delight flowing. The universe’s most magnificent gift.” He tweeted on the article as well.
Keeravani went back to Hyderabad on Wednesday. He posted a heartfelt message on Twitter to announce his homecoming. He wrote on Twitter, “Dear JANANEE. Your help enabled us to cross the Atlantic Waters, maintain the Fire inside, and make history. I cherish RRR dearly. Nonetheless, it currently implies Go home. Accept your affection, and rejoice.
Composer MM Keeravani remarked in his acceptance speech after winning the Oscar for Naatu Naatu, “There was only one wish on my mind…RRR has to win…the pride of every Indian…and it must put me on top of the world.”
Naatu Naatu genuinely rose to the status of a global phenomenon in recent months. RRR is a fictional story set in the 1920s that was first released in theaters last March.
