Kareena Kapoor gears up for her OTT debut with a thrilling Netflix film

Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor shared happy news about her OTT debut with a Netflix film which is the screen adaptation of Japanese author Keigo Higashino’s bestseller, The Devotion of Suspect X.

Kareena turned to her Instagram and gave fans a glimpse of her upcoming OTT project co-starring Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma in the lead.

“And so it begins…12th Street Entertainment & Northern Lights Films in association with Boundscript and Kross Pictures present a Netflix Original directed by Sujoy Ghosh. Produced by Jay Shewakramani & Akshai Puri. Produced by Sujoy Ghosh & Thomas Kim,” she wrote in the caption.

The Devotion of Suspect X is a 2005 Japanese murder mystery novel by Keigo Higashino. Sujoy Ghosh, popularly known for his thrilling directorial like Kahaani and Badla said, “Devotion is probably the best love story I’ve ever read and to get a chance to adapt it into a film is such an honour. Plus, I get a chance to work with Kareena, Jaideep and Vijay! What more can one ask for.”

Moreover, in her statement, the Talaash star said, “It’s one that has all the right ingredients… a great story, a visionary director, and a super talented cast and crew. I’m really looking forward to working with Sujoy, Jaideep, and Vijay. It’s the beginning of an electrifying journey and I can’t wait for audiences worldwide to see this global bestseller book come to life.”

On the other hand, the mommy of two will soon be seen in Laal Singh Chaddha, co-starring Aamir Khan. The film is slated to release in theatres on August 11.
