Vaishali Sarwankar, the film’s producer, spoke about replicating the Upkar song for her film and how the song’s topic is the ideal conclusion of their story.

The song’s title is arguably the most appropriate for our picture, said the producer. “Shrikant Bhasi, our chairman, also loves the song. So, once the picture was in pre-production, he requested that we first purchase the rights.”
So they purchased the rights from Saregama Ltd.
The song was written by Vikram Montrose and features Sukhwinder Singh on vocals. Who else could do it better than him?
