Rakul Preet Singh talks about her experience in the film Runway 34

Rakul Preet Singh is preparing for the release of her forthcoming film ‘Runway 34.’ She has recently opened up about her first time playing a pilot. She explained that when she puts on a uniform, she feels a feeling of respect that comes with it.
“It is one of the best screenplays I have heard in a long time. And I leaped at the chance to grab this job,” she adds of her part in the film.

She went through extensive training and was always supervised by a professional pilot. In order to fully immerse herself in the character’s mindset and demonstrate suitable skills. One of her favourite aspects of her profession is learning new things for her movies.
“My experience playing a pilot was fantastic because I love my work because you get to play different roles. As well as learn so many different things,” Rakul Preet says of her character’s preparation. How would I have known what a cockpit looks like if I hadn’t seen one?

“We had cockpit training for about 2-3 days. Where a captain was on set telling us how the entire panel works because we shot in a real simulator, and also during the entire shoot, the captain was there just to make sure we used the right button and used the correct terminology while flying a plane so it looked authentic.”

“And when you put on a uniform, there’s an automatic sense of respect that comes with it; the way you move, talk, use your language, and react is completely different from what a girl next door would do. This was the extent of my preparation for this role.”
‘Runway 34,’ produced and directed by Ajay Devgn, will be released on April 29.
