Director of the film ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ says pre-production work has started.
The film stars Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in lead characters.
The film is a sequel to David Dhawan’s 1998 hit film “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.”
On Sunday, director Ali Abbas Zafar said that pre-production work on his upcoming film ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan has started.’ Which stars Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in lead characters. The film will launch an action series. However it is a sequel to David Dhawan’s 1998 hit film “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.” The OG film stared Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda.
‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam on Christmas of 2023.
The director made his OTT directorial debut with the series ‘Tandav’ in 2021. The web series, was charged guilty for inflaming religious passions. The series has been accused of denigrating Hindu deities.
An FIR was registered at Lucknow`s Hazratganj Kotwali against Prime India’s head of original content, Aparna Purohit. Also to director of web series `Tandav` Zafar, its producer Himanshu Krishna Mehra, and writer Gaurav Solanki. However, Zafar later apologized and said he didn’t wanted to hurt anyone’s sentiments.
Now he is also preparing to release an action picture starring Shahid Kapoor.
