She shares, “I am a person of faith and religion and believe in God, but I don’t believe in Godmen. I have met the latter in my life where they have said things like you give us certain money and we will do puja on your behalf and you don’t need to be present for the rituals too. What kind of puja is this where I can’t be a part of it too? At the same time there are also a few people who believe in seva, who won’t charge you a penny, but pray for you. So you see, there are both these kind of people out there.”
Talking about her belief in God, Esha shares, “I believe in prayers and have a complete faith in God. And I turn to God all the time. It is not only during sorrows or pain that I do prayers, but even during my joys I turn to God and thank him. I always pray to God for peace and happiness for all the people who I know. In fact, every year around Diwali I visit Varanasi for the arti. It feels pleasant there and so I never miss it.”

The actress who’s a lot into meditation felt at peace while shooting for the show. “My role demanded me to shoot at the aashram set. There were scenes where disciples are seen chanting the mantras. There is the aroma of agarbatti and dhoop that feels the room. There are diyas lit up. During these scenes there used to be so much shanti and one could feel some power on set,” she said.
