Janhvi Kapoor claims that her mother Sridevi wanted her to work with Gauri Shinde

The English Vinglish team recently recognised the illustrious actress as they commemorated ten years of the language.

The talented director has plans to work with Janhvi in her upcoming film after previously working with Sridevi. Gauri previously said to reports that she and Janhvi have been talking about scripts and will collaborate on a project shortly. Janhvi has since expressed her delight about working with Gauri. The star child recently recalls having a blast on the English Vinglish sets while speaking to an India nsource.

Janhvi mentioned to the group that her mother had always wanted her to collaborate with Gauri. She added that she considers Gauri to be a member of her family. Do you anticipate working with Gauri? Janhvi responded, “Yes! I recall my time spent on the English Vinglish sets and the wonderful experience my mother had. I can still hear my mother saying, “I hope you get to work with her,” over and over again. I sincerely dream, I wish. It was almost if my mother was dreaming that I would work with Gauri. I’m quite close with her. She has a sense of belonging and of being at home. I believe that what they went through in creating English Vinglish was something truly unique, and I was a part of it for a very brief period of time. It was unique.”
