Kajol’s performance in her next movie Salaam Venky was praised in a post by actor Ajay Devgn. On Thursday, Ajay posted a picture of Kajol in a red saree and matching bangles on Instagram while she was turning her back on the camera.

Ajay wrote alongside the photo, “To Kajol, the one who makes my zindagi badi (the one who makes my life big), you are superlative in the film.” Sharing the post, he captioned it, “Salaam Venky ‘charged’ me emotionally. This one is special. The whole team shines, especially @revathyasha. The film Salaam Venky, starring Vishal Jethwa and Kajol, was made under the direction of Revathi. Kolavennu Venkatesh, a young chess player who suffered from Duchenne muscular dystrophy, served as its model (DMD). 2004 saw his passing.

On December 9, the movie is scheduled to open in theatres. In addition to Salaam Venky, Kajol will appear in the upcoming online series The Good Wife, an Indian version of the eponymous American courtroom drama.

Drishyam 2, a recent hit from Ajay, has earned over 100 crore at the box office. In addition to Tabu, Shriya Saran, Akshaye Khanna, and Ishita Datta, the movie was released in November.

He will appear in Bholaa, the official Hindi adaptation of the 2019 Tamil smash blockbuster Kaithi, which also stars Tabu and Ajay. He also has the upcoming movies Maidaan by Boney Kapoor, Singham Again by Rohit Shetty, and Neeraj Pandey.
