Malaika Arora‘s boyfriend Arjun Kapoor was absent from her family’s traditional Christmas celebration. Arjun Kapoor has now explained why he was unable to attend the party. In light of the increasing number of cases in India, Arjun said he is not feeling well while also assuring fans that it is not Covid-19.

Arjun Kapoor shared a photo of himself taken by Malaika on Monday. He spoke on the phone while posing with a headband decorated for the holiday season. He was in his bed, hidden beneath the covers.

Malaika seemed to be receiving flying kisses from Arjun. Sharing the photo, Arjun updated fans, “Unwell reindeer this holiday season…- @malaikaaroraofficial #festiveseason #christmasmood (Don’t worry it’s not COVID).” Many people responded to his health update by sending him well wishes for a quick recovery. Karan Boolani, who is married to Arjun’s cousin Rhea Kapoor, said that joining them “Would have been a repeat of last year chachu.”

Malaika shared a number of images from her mother’s house on Sunday, writing, “Merry Christmas… we missed you Arjun Kapoor.” She used hashtag ‘Xmas photo dump’ as well as a heart, Christmas tree, Santa Claus and other emojis in her caption.

Malaika wore a co-ord skirt set in black and white along with black heels. She appeared in photos with her sari-clad mother Joyce Polycarp. Actress Amrita Arora, Malaika’s sister, joined them as well. She was dressed in a black dress. The mother and daughters smiled for the camera as they stood in front of the home’s Christmas tree.

She also uploaded a family picture of Amrita and her smiling alongside their parents. More snippets of the Christmas festivities, as seen through Malaika, include Amrita, her husband Shakeel Ladak, and their sons Rayaan and Azaan.

Malaika is currently the lead in her Disney+ Hotstar series, Moving In With Malaika. Her OTT career began with it.

On the other hand, Arjun will next be seen in Kuttey. Konkona Sensharma, Naseeruddin Shah, Tabu, Kumud Mishra, Radhika Madan, and Shardul Bhardwaj are among the actors who appear in it. In the movie, Arjun plays a police officer.

Aasmaan Bhardwaj, the son of director Vishal Bhardwaj, makes his directorial debut with this movie. The movie is scheduled to debut on January 13 in theatres.
