Sidharth Malhotra greets PM Modi with Namaste at Vijay Diwas Jashn

Sidharth Malhotra, an actor, had been invited to the Vijay Diwas Jashn 2022. He shared photos from the occasion on Tuesday, which was also attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Droupadi Murmu. He shared his experience with admirers via an Instagram post, and many of them expressed their admiration.

Sidharth wrote, “It was truly an honour and such an incredible experience for me to be invited for the Vijay Diwas Jashn, by the Chief of Army. To top it all, to be in the esteemed company of The President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu and Hon. Prime Minister @narendramodi ji was even more special!”

“Interacting with the real heroes of our country, filled me with pride and so much emotion that this day is a memory I truly will cherish forever Big love and respect,” he added. At the event, Sidharth and PM Modi are seen welcoming each other with folded hands.

Malhotra shared the teaser for his forthcoming spy thriller Mission Majnu, which will be released on Netflix on the 51st Vijay Diwas. He plays a spy who will do anything for ‘Hindustan ki hifaazat’ in the film. Rashmika Mandanna also appears.

The actor took to Twitter to share a one-minute-long video teaser for Mission Majnu. He wrote in the caption, “Iss Majnu ke kaam karne ka tarika alag hai (The style of working of this Majnu is different). Presenting the Official Teaser for MISSION MAJNU Only on Netflix, 20th Jan, 2023.”

 

The film, directed by Shantanu Bagchi, will be available on Netflix on January 20, 2023. True occurrences are said to have inspired it. It was once expected to hit theatres in June. In addition to Sidharth and Rashmika, the film has major performances by Kumud Mishra, Parmeet Sethi, Sharib Hashmi, Mir Sarwar, and Zakir Hussain.

Yodha, Disha Patani, and Raashii Khanna are also in the works for Sidharth. Karan Johar’s production company, Dharma Productions, is behind the picture.
