Zoya Akhtar and her crew recently celebrated the completion of their new film, The Archies, with a wonderful party. Delnaaz Irani, the actor, took to Instagram on Thursday to reveal the first photographs from inside the celebration. She posed for photos with the cast, including Zoya.

Delnaaz was seen smiling brightly in a photo with Suhana Khan next to her. Suhana attended the celebration in a crimson dress with her hair wrapped in a bun. Khushi Kapoor, who was wearing a brown outfit and dazzling jewellery, also posed with Delnaaz. Tara Sharma, who plays lead actor Agastya Nanda’s mother in the film, and director Zoya Akhtar also got their pictures taken with Delnaaz. Agastya also took a selfie with Delnaaz.

Finally, Delnaaz provided a photograph of the party cake. Frosting in the shape of Archies characters was used to embellish it.

The Archies is an Indian adaption of the iconic American comic Archies Comics, set in the 1960s. Netflix India recently made the announcement on its official Twitter page. “Grab your milkshakes and say Archiesssss, because filming just wrapped and we can’t wait to see the gang on-screen! (sic)” said the streamer in a post accompanied by a series of photographs.

The Archies, billed as a coming-of-age story set in India’s Anglo-Indian community, follows the lives of popular fictional youths such as Archie Andrews, Jughead Jones, Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge, and Reggie Mantle, among others.
