Katrina Kaif-Vicky Kaushal invites Anushka Sharma & Virat Kohli to dinner

Anushka Sharma described herself as ‘bit of a recluse and socially awkward’ in an interview. She ‘doesn’t enjoy going to parties’ the actor claimed. Anushka said that she enjoys eating home-cooked meals and inviting a few friends around for supper. Anushka remembered what it was like when Katrina and actor-husband Vicky Kaushal hosted her and cricketer-husband Virat Kohli to their home for dinner. Anushka has worked with Katrina Kaif in movies including Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012) and Zero (2018).

Katrina and Vicky Kaushal, who got married in December 2021, live next door to Anushka and Virat. Anushka remembers telling Katrina they have dinner at 6 o’clock when she and Virat were invited over by her and Vicky. The actor continued by saying that as Anushka and Virat were eating supper, Katrina made jokes about munching on some munchies.

Anushka told, “Katrina and Vicky have invited us to their home, but we eat dinner at 6 and we sleep at 9:30. So I said [to Katrina Kaif], for you we’ll eat at 7-7:30 but we have to leave soon. So she’s like okay, you’ll have dinner and Vicky and me will have snacks.”

Anushka continued by saying that, like Katrina, she has ‘never been someone who enjoys loud, noisy parties’ and that Shah Rukh Khan, too, recognises her “awkwardness” and no longer invites her to his gatherings. She remarked in the same interview regarding Katrina and Shah Rukh, “The two of them really understand that I’m socially awkward and they accept me that way. That’s the nicest thing that anyone can do in the world.”

Anushka, Katrina, and Shah Rukh appeared in two movies together: Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Zero, which served as Anushka’s final lead role. Recently, she appeared in a cameo in the Netflix movie Qala (2022). In the song Ghodey Pe Sawaar, she may be seen. The following project for Anushka after the birth of her daughter Vamika is Chakda Xpress. The life of cricketer Jhulan Goswami is the basis for the movie.
